Our family has been going to Jamaica for 20 years. We love the people, the scenery, and especially the FOOD! For years we've tried to reproduce here at home the flavours of Jamaica that we love so well. It is impossible. Jamaican soy sauce, vinegar, and a variety of spices are unique to Jamaica. When we built our resort on Jamaica's southwest coast, we finally had an opportunity to produce and bring home our favorite culinary treats. Now we can offer them to you.

Jamaican Dread Jerk Sauce -is made at Lost Beach Resort from our own recipe. It is a spicy hot barbeque sauce and a wonderful marinade for chicken, pork, or fish. Vegetarians love it on sandwiches and it is a favourite with our customers at the Lost & Found Bar & Grill in Jamaica. Throngs of people visiting the Ann Arbor Art Fair love it too! If you're tired of the same ole barbeque, try our Jerk Sauce - but be careful -it's HOT! -loaded with what Jamaicans call "country peppers", and what we know as Habaneros, one thousand times hotter than a Jalapeno. We offer two varieties of Jerk Sauce: Tourist Class, for beginners, which is very spicy but not so hot, and Original, for those who love the hot stuff. With a special request via email, the truly insane can inquire about our new XXX Jerk Sauce-it's way too hot for human consumption!


Jamaican Dread Black Mustard - Wonderful though Jerk Sauce is, it's not great on everything! When you just want an Italian Sausage or Triple-Decker sandwich, you NEED mustard. Our spicy black mustard is perfect for transforming the ordinary dog or sandwich into a spicy delight. Our Tourist Class Black Mustard is flavourful and spicy, while the Original is VERY hot! If you're looking for sweet, this ISN'T it!


Caribbean Jewels Spices- We were delighted to find that Jamaicans take the worry out of cooking by offering pre-mixed spices for every occasion. If you're baking a pie, use Bakin' Seasonin' (their spelling, not ours!) Cooking a roast? Try Cookin' Seasonin', and Chicken Seasonin' is pretty much self explanatory. Jamaican flavourings are also real and natural and about four times more powerful than what you can get here at home. All our spices and flavourings are a great deal, and a wonderful addition to your spice cabinet.
